Ralph was an individual whom made a bet with Jack Harkness.
On 12 February 1897, Ralph bet Jack Harkness two shillings and one penny that he couldn't milk a mule. Jack accepted the bet, and won, but was kicked in the head in the process.
Three hours later, Jack told the story to Sally Smith at the Greenstall Tavern, telling her that the drinks were on Ralph. (PROSE: Captain Jack Transcripts [+]Loading...["Captain Jack Transcripts (short story)"])
