Behind the scenes

• Seaton Begg was created by Michael Moorcock as an homage to Sexton Blake. Begg appeared in a series of short stories set in the Michael Moorcock Multiverse later collected under The Metatemporal Detective.
  • Moorcock later returned to the character for a story in the Obverse Books anthology Zenith Lives!.
• In The Metatemporal Detective, Begg is a member of Moorcock's von Bek family. He frequently spars with his distant cousin Zenith the Albino.
