In the 511st century, Blake was commonly known to the Terraphiles due to Sexton Blake and the Terror of the Tongs being one of the only texts of Earth to survive. Urquart Banning-Cannon was a large fan of the character; he believed that Sherlock Holmes had once been known as "Sexton Blake's office boy".
