Glentor[[edit source]]
In the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrHQmEoqTmw&feature=player_embedded at the start the silence say this world is ours 'glentor' could the doctor's name finally be revealed or is it just a mistake. The mysterious 23:08, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
- The Silence actually says "This world is ours, Doctor." It is a bit hard to understand them sometimes, but I don't think they would reveal the Doctor's name in a trailer, I don't think they will reveal it at all. Rassilon of Old (Talk - TTFF - Teru) 14:19, April 25, 2011 (UTC)

the man in chains from the trailer; is that the Doctor?
Area 51?[[edit source]]
Could it be possible that Area 51 will appear? If so, it'll be the perfect excuse to have at least 1 Dalek appear. BNSF1995, Alive since 1995 23:28, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
Secret messages[[edit source]]
I hope I'm not the only one to spot these: in the Fact Files on the BBC's website, occasional words are italicised seemingly at random - until one puts them together. From "The Impossible Astronaut" http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010tb7q :
All The secrets you seek can be found here on the Webb (sic)
And from "Day of the Moon" http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010y5l3 :
we found your message! you're alive! But what secrets D'you mean my friend? (sic)
No idea where these can be integrated into either article. Also, this seems to be fairly notable: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/videos/p00gj9jm

Anyone else notice the framed picture on the orphanage room wall for the Little Girl? It seems to be a memento mori of a woman in a dress that looks a Silent face/distorted skull upside down. 75.158.134.185 21:50, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
- I thought it looked like a Silent! But I thought I was just seeing things. 92.29.189.121 21:51, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
Prequel section[[edit source]]
The bit about the prequel is in the wrong article. The prequel was shot for The Impossible Astronaut and therefore should be moved to that article. 68.146.78.43 03:52, May 1, 2011 (UTC)
Canton Delaware[[edit source]]
Canton is NOT a companion...not even a guest companion. Can somebody please remove him from the companion list? Thanks. 152.132.9.132 17:33, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Why not? He traveled in the TARDIS and helped The Doctor on an adventure. That sure sounds like a companion to me.FixtheFernback 20:25, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
- His presence at the future Doctor's mourning supports this somewhat, suggesting that he may be far more important than he is now, wouldn't be the first time we've seen companions introduced from a non-linear perspective. Though maybe he could have been invited simply because he was involved in the adventure they were about to partake in...?
The Doctor says "until the next one" to Canton when he leaves meaning he may meet him again and possibly travel with him. 92.29.191.203 06:18, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
Arguments for: Three months assisting the Doctor + TARDIS flight time + shows up 40 years later (from his perspective).
Arguments against: Only two episodes and one adventure, albiet a very long one. Not formally asked to travel with the Doctor.
Was he asked to travel with the Doctor? No, but that's not a valid argument since some of the Doctor's companions were either stuck on board or stowaways and not really asked to join. Canton actually does get an invitation of sorts when the Doctor says "under no circumstances follow us and close the door behind you."
Canton actually has more "companion cred" than Adam Mitchell, who appeared in the same number of episodes but knew the Doctor for only a brief time. 24.117.93.59 05:37, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Rrrrgh![[edit source]]
You guys don't know if he should be counted as a companion? Well look at the entire two parter! If YOU wont fix it I will!(173.167.179.77 20:49, September 6, 2011 (UTC))
Displaced Silent[[edit source]]
At the begining of The Impossible Astronaut, Amy sees one of the Silent on top of a hill near her picknick. But if, as we discovered in this episode, that a Silent massacare occured in 1969, what is that one Silent doing there just oberserving on a hilltop?Looq 00:12, May 6, 2011 (UTC)
That's either a continuity error or an important clue of events to come. I don't think it's a continuity error; instead, All Will Be Revealed as a part of the series arc, assuming it doesn't wind up on the cutting room floor. But that's speculation and, if I understand the rules here, the talk section is not the place for it.Boblipton 00:34, May 6, 2011 (UTC)
In light of late episodes, I think this silent could be a member of the Kovarian chapter, sent to check on Amy. Conjecture, of course. And the place for this discussion is the discontinuity index. Pondilicious ☎ 20:57, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
Superphone?[[edit source]]
Despite the absence of any sort of satellite or tower structure to support cell phone technology, Canton is able to use Amy's phone to call the Doctor to send him the clip of the Silence saying "You should destroy us all." I think this indicates the phone has been upgraded to superphone status and rcommend that someone who is more certain add it. Boblipton 01:19, May 11, 2011 (UTC)
Production error at 41:57[[edit source]]
Production error: During Amy's flashback in the TARDIS to the memories she lost during her abduction by the Silents (around 42 minutes in), a man's head can be seen at the bottom-right corner of the frame. Also, the reflection in the helmet is different, the painting of the ballerina can be seen in the background, and the bullet hole in the clear visor can be seen through the reflective visor.
Not the last time River kisses the Doctor[[edit source]]
It seems quite clear River saying that there is also a last time doesn't mean it's her last kiss with the Doctor. Doesn't she kiss the doctor in his 10 incarnation in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead? Or is there any proof it really is her last kiss with him? Rawrgoaway 13:24, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
Whether or not this is truly the last kiss, this is what she believes will be their last kiss. Assuming completely opposite time streams, then of course the Doctor's first kiss with River will be River's last kiss with the Doctor. The Doctor saying this is unexpected predicates that this is not a usual occurrence, whether or not he was kissed in the library. River's interpretation of this would therefore be that this is their last kiss in her timeline. Since this is based on her viewpoint, there needn't be evidence that this truly was "the last kiss", simply that River believed it would be. If we were taking it to mean the last actual kiss, we'd have to include the one in "Name of the Doctor" making it categorically not. Pondilicious ☎ 21:04, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
Updates[[edit source]]
Just writing to say I updated the page in two spots. One I referenced Darillium where River and the Doctor may share their last kiss (since that hasn't happened yet for either of them it's worth pointing out I think). And I also added a myth that you would think would be irrelevant, but after being on YouTube you'd be surprised how oddly common it is. 74.14.144.149 01:19, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
You said "a myth"- what part are you talking about? Pondilicious ☎ 06:51, April 28, 2014 (UTC)
Continuity[[edit source]]
I changed the River pool dive continuity point to better reference The Eleventh Hour. Clearly, in The Eleventh Hour, the Doctor fell from the (burning) console room into the library swimming pool, so a fall through the console room into the swimming pool is survivable. The Doctor did not need to necessarily "rearrange" the swimming pool to the front of the TARDIS to allow River to get to it. And the script clearly has him say "Amy, Rory, open all the doors to the swimming pool!"
"Do not add anything about the little girl being a Time Lord".[[edit source]]
As we now know the girl's identity and that she IS a (partial) Time Lord, is this comment still valid, or is it still not really what the Continuity and Story notes section is for? -- Tybort (talk page) 10:24, September 22, 2011 (UTC)
I think a more valid statement would be in the vein of "the girl has the ability to regenerate" as in the context of this episode, we do not know whether or not she is a Time Lord, but to then connect to the later info. Along the lines of:
"The girl in the episode is seen to regenerate. She is later revealed to be Melody Pond (Let's Kill Hitler), a human with part-Time-Lord DNA (A Good Man Goes to War)" Pondilicious ☎ 21:09, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
"A Little Thing"[[edit source]]
I noticed in the chase scene at the beginning, a clearly 1980's-1990's Jeep Wrangler is used. Does that count as a production error?65.191.69.199talk to me 01:17, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
