Targus Kornick

Targus Kornick was the professor who built the Nihilism Chamber on Rontan 9. Together with his students he planned to conduct experiments in the chamber with no outside influences. On his first testing of the chamber, the Doctor's TARDIS dematerialised inside the Chamber, and the Eighth Doctor emerged searching for mercury. The Doctor showed Kornick and his students that whilst they were inside the Chamber, the Daleks had used a Time Destructor which had ravaged their world in temporal distortions. Whilst outside the chamber, Kornick was subject to one of these distortions, which turned him into a hostile creature. (PROSE: Natural Regression)
