- As the longest-running BBC Radio programme, The Archers has featured many DWU actors, including Lisa Bowerman, Terry Molloy, Michael Cochrane, David Troughton, Paul Copley, Simon Williams, Tim Bentinck, Souad Faress, Ronny Jhutti, Jack May, Tamsin Greig, Ysanne Churchman, Edward Kelsey, Hamilton Dyce, Crawford Logan, and Annabelle Dowler, Mali Harries, and Tom Gibbons. Writer Brian Hayles also penned an episode in 1970.
- The 2022 Big Finish Productions short story, winner of The Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip Opportunity, The World Tree, written by Nick Slawicz, references The Archers. The narrator of the story, Lisa Bowerman, also starred in The Archers in 2022, but according to the author this was a coincidence. [1]
