The Big Finish Podcast/2008

2008 saw the release of the first ever Big Finish Podcasts. A total of 17 podcasts and podlets were released during this year, with Nicholas Briggs and Barnaby Edwards the main contributors. It also saw the first appearances on the podcast by Paul Spragg and David Richardson, who would go on to be two of the main contributors in later years.

Unfortunately none of these podcasts are currently available by any conventional means, with the earliest podcasts still available on the Big Finish website dating back to 2011.

There were 11 main podcasts released in 2008, along with 4 podlets and 2 Top 5 Specials. The numbering is based on the modern system used on the Big Finish website, where the first two digits denote the year of release (08) and the last two digits denote the podcast number. Note that this system is only officially used from BFP 1737, which was the 37th podcast released in 2017.
