An individual who preferred to go by the name, WaltK, was a frequent editor on the TARDIS Wiki.
While many accounts agreed that he was a human, others suggested that he was, bizarrely, a giant panda bear. Further accounts went as far as to say he was a panda who used a perception filter to make himself appear human. By his own words, Walt was certain that he was "a panda masquerading as a human, or vice versa".

Walt first gained a casual interest in the Doctor's universe when they were in their tenth incarnation, around the time of the Christmas Eve in which a giant star appeared over London. (TV: The Runaway Bride [+]Loading...["The Runaway Bride (TV story)"]) The Tenth Doctor left enough of an impression on Walt that he considered him to be "[his] Doctor", although he was willing to admit that that did not necessarily make him "the best". Regardless, he considered David Tennant to be a "brilliant guy".
Roughly a year after the emergence of the Eleventh Doctor, Walt found himself taking his first glimpse upon the Doctor's expanded adventures via the publication, Doctor Who Adventures, as a means of distraction from certain hardships in his personal life. (COMIC: The Salt Solution [+]Loading...["The Salt Solution (comic story)"]) After a year, he had amassed a large pile of the weekly adventures, but had grown disinterested in reading them. He ultimately disposed of the pile to free up space, a decision he went on to regret; he subsequently sought out a number of old issues again from eBay sellers.
In 2015, he acquired his first Doctor Who novel, The Silent Stars Go By [+]Loading...["The Silent Stars Go By (novel)"], as a gift from a "dear Belgian friend".
Walt first discovered TARDIS Wiki at some point in the late 2010s, and became intrigued by its style of cataloguing every single detail of the Doctor's adventures and all that were adjacent. He became an avid editor soon after. His Wiki activity had led him to become much more engrossed in expanded DWU, specialising particularly in comics.
