Good as Gold (TV story)
Good as Gold was a mini-episode of Doctor Who written by the winners of a Blue Peter script-to-screen competition.
Synopsis
The Doctor and Amy are in the TARDIS and it's London 2012. Whatever you do — don't blink!
Plot
The Doctor and Amy Pond are inside the TARDIS, and Amy says that it has been a while since they have been on an adventure. The Doctor then activates the TARDIS's "Adventure Setting" they are off on an Adventure. However, the TARDIS starts to malfunction and the Doctor gets blasted by steam from the TARDIS. His hair becomes messy, and the TARDIS continues to malfunction. The Cloister Bell sounds, and the TARDIS console fires out sparks. The Doctor states that the TARDIS is going to crash. Both he and Amy hang on for dear life, and they crash land.
Once they get up, after falling on the floor, an athlete runs through the door holding the Olympic Flame. He asks where he is, before relising that he was running from something. They all look towards the door, and see a Weeping Angel. Both the Doctor and Amy say, "don't blink", but then the TARDIS fires sparks out of the console. This allows the Weeping Angel to take the Olympic Torch off the athlete. The Doctor states that the Angel wants to destroy the Pride of the Olympics, and ruin London 2012. The Doctor then points his Sonic Screwdriver at the Angel, and once the Doctor activates the screwdriver the Angel disappears.
The athlete jumps up and grabs the Torch so that it doesn't hit the floor and go out. He thanks the Doctor and gives him an Olympic Gold Medal, before leaving the TARDIS to light the Olympic Beacon. The Doctor turns around and says that they are now going to go on an adventure.
The Weeping Angel, having disappeared, somehow reappears, and looks towards the centre of the TARDIS.

- Amy wears the same clothes she did in DW: The Doctor's Wife.
- A Weeping Angel appears chasing a 2012 Olympic Torch Bearer. Weeping Angels previously appeared in DW: Blink, DW: The Time of Angels, DW: Flesh and Stone, and cameoed in DW: The God Complex.
- The Cloister Bell is heard, last having been heard in DW: The God Complex.
Timeline
- Although there is no mention of Rory Williams, indicating that this may take place during Series 5, Amy knows not to blink at the sight of the Weeping Angels, indicating that this takes place for her after the events of DW: Cold Blood, as Amy last met the Weeping Angels in DW: The Time of Angels / Flesh and Stone.
Trivia
- When explosions happen inside the Tardis, the Doctor is at one point hit by one of the explosions making his hair look different. According to many fans, this hair resembles David Tennant's haircut as when he played The Doctor.
