Time freeze

A Time Freeze is a device employed by the Vykoids. It slows down other races while leaving them unaffected by it's propeties. To those affected by the device, the Vykoids appear faster and speak faster. An unexpected side effect is memory problems for non-time travelers; the Doctor and Amy remember what happened during the course of the book, but the populace of Manhattan do not.
