Queen Edith was the queen of Edward the Confessor. She was just as cunning as he. When Sebastian Grayle wanted to poison her with a Plutonium necklace she had an exact replica made of it and wore that instead. She was engaged briefly to the Eighth Doctor. (BFA: Seasons of Fear)
