History of the Doctor Who Universe
Unknown dates
- On Parallel Earth, Rose Tyler joins Torchwood. Meanwhile, Jackie Tyler and Pete Tyler conceive a child and Mickey Smith apparently takes up residence in their household (although there is no indication that his relationship with Rose has resumed). (DW: Doomsday)
- Soon after joining Torchwood, and several months after Jackie becomes pregnant, Rose begins receiving what appears to be a message from the Doctor. With the support of her family, she travels to a remote fjord in Norway (ironically named Bad Wolf Bay) where she is able to briefly make contact with the Doctor. Although she is able to tell him that she loves him, he is unable to respond properly before communication is lost. The exchange leaves Rose emotionally devastated. (DW: Doomsday).
- At some point after her final exchange with the Doctor - possibly as late as 2011 or later - Rose learns of imminent danger to Pete's World and to other parallel worlds and universes, and finds a way to return to her original Earth (which also involves going back in time a few years). She has an early, brief encounter with Donna Noble (DW: Partners in Crime), and tries unsuccessfully to contact the Doctor via videoscreens (DW: The Poison Sky and Midnight). Ultimately, she is able to directly contact Donna in an alternate timeline and gets her to deliver a message to the Doctor - their personal "code word", "Bad Wolf". (DW: Turn Left). Finally, she arrives back on her original Earth soon after it is relocated to the Medusa Cascade in 2009, and after encountering Donna's mother and grandfather is finally reunited with the Doctor just as he is shot down by a Dalek. (DW: The Stolen Earth).
April
- 24 - Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane are married in Cheldon Bonniface, England, Earth. (NA: Happy Endings; this presumably is before the Earth's forced relocation to the Medusa Cascade as there is no reference to this event)
