Tim Davie was the chief executive of BBC Worldwide. When George Entwistle resigned in the wake of the Jimmy Savile paedophelia scandal^[1] , Davie served as interim Director-General of the BBC from November 2012 to March 2013, when Tony Hall took over.^[2]
