Series 2 (SJA)
A second series has been confirmed. It will be comprised of six stories, each consisting of two, 30-minute episodes, and will most likely start in mid-to-late September 2008, as the most recent trailer confirmed as "This Autumn". Nicholas Courtney, playing Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart will return in at least one story, along with the Sontarans in the same episode who are the first classic series Doctor Who monsters to appear in The Sarah Jane Adventures. David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor) is also said to have filmed a scene.[source needed] The Graske will also reappear as seen in the most recent trailer. All the titleshave been revealed: Episodes 1/2 are The Last Sontaran, Episodes 3/4 are Day of the Clown, Episodes 5/6 are Secrets of the Stars, Episodes 7/8 are The Mark of the Beserker, Episodes 9/10 are The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith, and Episodes 11/12 are Enemy of the Bane (Source: DWM 399). It is rumoured that Sarah Jane will have nightmares of Davros surviving the Crucible's destruction. It is unlikely that Davros survived in Journey's End as all escape pods would probably have been destroyed with the Crucible.
