Alice was a member of Captain Latimer's household staff in 1892 and subordinate to governess Clara Oswald. She was present for Clara's death in the last seconds of Christmas Eve that year. When the clocks chimed, she noted that it was then Christmas Day. (TV: The Snowmen)
