Banana Boat was Rhys Williams' best man at his wedding to Gwen Cooper.
Banana met with Gwen Cooper the day she found out about Torchwood to let her know that he'd be away the following summer, and, as she would later tell Rhys, they had a cup of tea together. He had apparently read "this thing about diabetes." (TV: Everything Changes)
