On 28 May, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1966 - Episode one of The Savages was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1966 - Part two of TV Comic story The Secret of Gemino was first published.
- 1977 - Part three of TV Comic story Kling Dynasty was first published.
- 1980 - Part seven of Doctor Who Weekly comic story Doctor Who and the Dogs of Doom and part three of Yonder... The Yeti were first published.
- 2005 - The Doctor Dances was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Weird Science aired on BBC Three.
- 2008 - Doctor Who: Battles in Time comic story The Black Sea was first published.
- 2009 - The Game of Death was published by BBC Children's Books.
- 2009 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story Hear No Evil was first published.
- 2009 - Children in Time Sticker Poster Book was first published by Penguin Character Books.
- 2011 - The Almost People was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Take Two aired on BBC Three. The prequel to A Good Man Goes to War was released on the Doctor Who website.
- 2013 - Volume one of Prisoners of Time was released by IDW Publishing.
