Adrian Davies was a teacher at Coal Hill School.
He was mistakenly believed by the Twelfth Doctor, who also noted he was reminiscent fashion-wise of his previous incarnation, complete with bow tie, to be Clara Oswald's boyfriend, whereas she was actually dating Danny Pink. Taking pride, the Doctor noted that Adrian did remind him of "a certain dashing young time traveller", with Clara assuming he was refering to Danny and his resemblence to his time travelling descendant Orson Pink. When Danny discovered the Doctor's nature, Clara explained to him that he was an alien who used to look like Adrian before turning into a Scottish caretaker. (TV: The Caretaker)
