Published in 1966, The Dalek Outer Space Book by Terry Nation and David Whitaker, like the Dalek Annuals that preceded it, was one of the first Doctor Who-related books to feature original stories. As with the first book, a selection of short stories and comics featuring the Daleks were offered, as well as a photo story about Susan Foreman meeting the Daleks, featuring images from the 1963-64 serial The Daleks.
