Yoshua was a resident of Trenzalore roughly 300 years into the Eleventh Doctor's stay on the planet. He was the oldest and hardiest member of the Lifeboat crew and assisted the Doctor in sailing to the Outland to find the threat that had invaded Trenzalore and murdered Tiberius Gluck.
