Rob was a member of the Eightfold Truth. He introduced Lucie Miller to the organisation. He gave her a Metebelis crystal. He wanted Lucie to find herself. He managed to convince Lucie that the Doctor was manipulating her. When a lot of people joined the group, he wanted to be rewarded for his loyalty.
