President of Great Britain (Rise of the Cybermen)
The President of Great Britain on a parallel Earth in 2007 was friends with Pete and Jackie Tyler.
He attended a meeting with John Lumic, the head of Cybus Industries, regarding the Cybermen program. He refused to approve the plan, saying it was unethical and obscene. The President later attended Jackie Tyler's birthday party, conversing with Jackie Tyler and a red-haired woman among others. Lumic sent the Cybermen to attack the guests at the party and then phoned the President. The President said to Lumic that he had forbade this plan.
After Lumic had terminated the call, the President said he was sorry for what had been done to the Cybermen, and said the experiment ends tonight. He then asked what happened if he refused, with one of the Cybermen saying that he would not be "compatible". He then says his last words: "What happens then? A Cyberman told him he would be deleted and promptly did so by sending a deadly dose of electricity coursing through his body, killing him in front of the horrified party guests. He was succeeded by Harriet Jones, who remained in office into 2010. (TV: Doomsday)
