The Saiph was a race that tried to invade the Earth. The Fourth Doctor and Romana I met them at Antibes. They came from the constellation of Orion. They stole personal items from the hot that The Doctor and Romana stayed at. They could generate parasites that could change people personalities momentarily. They were able to turn into protoplasm.
