Hardwick (Last of the Colophon) was a surveyor. He looked for planets with life. While looking on Colophas he found evidence of a fallen civilisation. He tried to threaten the Fourth Doctor to cooperate, by trying to kill Leela. (AUDIO: Last of the Colophon)
