Derek Martin (born 11 April 1933) played David Mitchell in the Doctor Who story Image of the Fendahl. He is probably best known for playing Charlie Slater in EastEnders. He also had uncredited roles as a Extra in The Romans, a Parisian in The Massacre of St. Bartholomew's Eve, a Soldier in The Web of Fear, a Soldier killed by an Auton in Spearhead from Space, a Thug in The Ambassadors of Death, a Prisoner in The Mind of Evil, and UNIT Soldiers in Inferno and The Claws of Axos.
