On 22 November, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1987 - A rebroadcast of Horror of Fang Rock airing on PBS affiliate WTTW in Chicago, Illnois, was interrupted for nearly 90 seconds when the station was made the target of a signal intrusion prank in which individuals managed to hijack WTTW's broadcast feed and parodied Max Headroom in an obscene manner, having earlier interrupted the station during a newscast on commercial station WGN-TV. The pranksters were never caught, and the scenes which had been interrupted were later rebroadcast in the days to follow on local Chicago and national media.
