On 6 November, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1967 - Location filming for The Enemy of the World continued at Climping Beach. (TCH 11)
- 1969 - Location filming for Spearhead from Space took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1972 - Pre-filming for The Three Doctors took place at Stage 3A of Ealing Studios. These mostly involved William Hartnell's pre-recorded involvement in the story, with the assistance of cue cards due to his ill-health. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1977 - Studio filming for The Invasion of Time took place at BBC Television Centre studio 8. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)

- 1994 - The BBC Radio 2 audio story The Ghosts of N-Space was recorded at Maida Vale 6.
- 1995 - As Universal Studios was slowly slipping away as a production partner for the 1996 TV movie, executive producer Philip Segal begged fans on multiple Doctor Who forums to bombard the company with phone calls and letters. Despite all this, by 27 November, all the parties had signed on.
- 1998 - Big Finish's Bernice Summerfield audio stories Walking to Babylon and Birthright were recorded. These were based on the two novels of the same name.
- 2018 - Big Finish's Rose Tyler audio drama anthology The Dimension Cannon was recorded.
- 2019 - Big Finish's The Paternoster Gang audio anthology Heritage 3 was recorded.
- 2022 - Big Finish's audio anthology Travel in Hope was recorded at the Soundhouse.
