Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller was an American playwright during the 20th century. In 1953, he wrote The Crucible, based on the Salem witch trials of 1692. The First Doctor, his granddaughter Susan Foreman, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright saw a performance of the play in Bristol on 9 November 1954. (PROSE: The Witch Hunters)
