This page is for discussing the ways in which Fear Itself doesn't fit well with other DWU narratives. You can also talk about the plot holes that render its own, internal narrative confusing.

- This story, apparently set between EarthWorld (novel) and Vanishing Point (novel) takes place over a period of four years. Unfortunately, in The Gallifrey Chronicles (novel), K-9 explicitly states that it's been "114 years 9 months 3 days and 6.3 hours since he was programmed to kill the Doctor to save Gallifrey. This was obviously before the Doctor pulled the lever to destroy Gallifrey in The Ancestor Cell (novel). The Doctor then spent 113 years on Earth from The Burning through to Escape Velocity (novel). he also spent the better part of a year on Earth during The Adventuress of Henrietta Street (novel). Meanwhile Fitz estimates that Trix has been with the TARDIS crew for a little over a year in The Gallifrey Chronicles (novel), and the narrative(ie. not Anji herself) states that she's been with Fitz and the Doctor for "months"(not "years") in Timeless. So where did this magical four years come from? Yes, Fitz didn't live through it, Anji won't remember it, but both the narrative as well as K9(who both has no reason to lie, and is also known for his anal attention to detail) make it clear that this story can not possibly xist in the same continuity as the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures.
