On 28 October 1589, mass murderer and werewolf Pieter Stubbe was sentenced to death for his crimes in Cologne. Stubbe fled instead. (AUDIO: Loups-Garoux)

In 1937, Anne Travers was born. (PROSE: One Cold Step)

In 1943, the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown visited the USS Eldridge in Philadelphia Bay. The Philadelphia Project was initiated, and the ship was rendered "invisible" — it instead went wrong, caused a time flux and got caught in between two dimensions. While the ship grew old into the year 2010, the crew were trapped in a time loop. The US government tried to stop the project, but were thwarted when the ship fell through a dimensional rift and ended up on the sea floor. (AUDIO: The Macros)

In 1829, the Swiftsure, carrying its own crew as well as that of the Mermaid, hit rocks and was wrecked. The two crews hung onto the rocks until a few hours later they were rescued by the Governor Ready. Later that day, a fire began on the Governor Ready (started by the Seventh Doctor), and the three crews were forced to abandon ship. (PROSE: Of the Mermaid and Jupiter)
