Jack Watling

Jack Watling (13 January 1923-22 May 2001) played Professor Edward Travers in the Doctor Who stories The Abominable Snowmen and The Web of Fear and the video Downtime.
He was the father of Deborah and Giles Watling. Deborah appeared alongside her father in those three stories as Victoria Waterfield.
His long career began in 1938 and ended in 1995. He had roles on television shows such as Danger Man, The Plane Makers, No Hiding Place, Dixon of Dock Green, Softly, Softly, Paul Temple, Jason King, Armchair Theatre and Bergerac.
