• In Part One, Clara Oswald, Gabriel Rosewood and the Corvids briefly appear in a flashback set during the comic story The Highgate Horror.

Continuity

• Jess Collins appears, recalling the death of her boyfriend Dave and the defeat of the Corvids by the Doctor and Clara. (COMIC: The Highgate Horror)
• The Doctor has no memory of Clara Oswald. (TV: Hell Bent) He does, however, remember the events of the previous encounter with Jess. (COMIC: The Highgate Horror) Oddly, however, he seems to no longer even remember Clara's name, despite indicating in Hell Bent that he still remembered that he travelled with someone named Clara.
