Influence on Mythology
Demons in the Doctor who universe have had a huge impact on the mythology and religous beliefs of species throughout the universe. Humans potrayed these collosal creatures as the death; the scourge, or more commonly known as: the destroyer of worlds. Demons, until recently, were thought to be just a classification of looks given to a group of species which looked or behaved similar to the stereotype of actual, real life mythologlogical enitities labeled as demons, but with the intruduction of The beast and his son, Abaddon, it could be that there was once a species of giant beings called the demons which lived in the previous universe prior to the one we(humans) live in and, seen as they were not present in Caibu-yu space, could have been made extinct by the disciples of light, as one was seen to be improsened. Evedince of this is shown by the fact that since The beast had a son, and the Beast was clearly male-or atleast the demon equivelent of a gender or race of beings who co-exist with a differant, opposite gender or race which demsexualy breed and reproduce to gender- it could not have reprodced ansexualy, hinting that there were female-or the demon equivalent of females and mad up of a race of demons who were the same speceies as there male demsexual parteners- and therefore, must have been some sort of reproductive cycle involving two genders or races, or possibly more, such as a species of demons which would have to fertilise using a "male" sperm, or a specialsed reproductive cell along the lines of sperm, which then passed through a "qassexual" breed or race of demon which purified the sperm and then finally "injected" it into the female cast which would house the growing offspring, or there could have been the posibility of demons have numerous qassexual casts which all inturn added some sort of purifying agent which added to the original male sperm to make it fertile.

- The Beast (DW: The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit) and his son Abaddon (TW: End of Days) were ancient individuals who were sealed away to protect the universe.
