I don't like stating that a "species" called demons exists, as opposed to the concept. I sort of thought of The Beast and Abaddon as unrelated to anything but each other, including even the Destroyer from Battlefield.

therefore I have decided to revise it to make it conform as strictly as possible to just what we have on screen. personally, I don't like this entry and would rather the information on it get distributed amongst entries on just Abaddon and The Beast. --***Stardizzy*** 20:08, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

In the case of The Beast (The Impossible Planet), and Abaddon, I think it is safe to say that they would want to be called gods. (this having to do with the words on the page for Demon with the link to this page) According to popular belief, especially religious ones such as Christianity, demons and fallen angels were led by Lucifer, who wanted to be like God, and therefore was thrown out of heaven with his followers. So, in a way, demons would like to be worshiped /like/ gods. - RenegadeTimlordTheArtistIncarnation7The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.234.242.69 (talk).

It doesn't matter what we viewers/readers/listeners think, it's what's presented in the stories. We don't allow any theories or speculation on our articles, because then we would have edit wars and messy pages. We also do not apply real world concepts to DWU pages, as the DWU is so very clearly different from the real world. However, if you'd like to continue this conversation with others, you can start a thread at Howling:The Howling, which is the one place on the wiki where we allow theories and speculation. Thanks.
