The New Hope was a space vessel active in at least the year 2100. A part of the Century Program, it was the ship which eventually helped establish a human colony on the planet Agora in the Centraxis system. From the safety of the TARDIS, the Sixth Doctor and Grant Markham watched it depart Mars for its ultimate destination -- what the Doctor called "the most remote of the prototype colonies".
