Project FLIPback was created in the early 21st century to deal with the imminent reversal of the Earth's magnetic poles.
The project was built at the Antarctic Snowcap Tracking Station, utilising the Field Loop for Inverse Polarity (or FLIP). In 2006, the Cybermen attempted to sabotage it so they could capitalise on the chaos caused by the reversal. They were stopped by the Seventh Doctor and Ruby Duvall. (PROSE: Iceberg)
