Rowan Atkinson

Rowan Atkinson (born 6th January 1955) played the Ninth Doctor in The Curse of Fatal Death.
In the late 80s, while he was a huge name, he was considered for the role of the Eighth Doctor (had the original series not been cancelled). He auditioned for the role of the Eighth Doctor in the TV movie, was considered for the role of the Ninth Doctor and was a name thrown out to play the Eleventh Doctor.
He is a noted fan of the franchise.
