The Anakim (or "watchers") were members of the Great Houses tainted by the Yssgaroth. Rebelling against the non-interventionist policies of their race, these fallen angels bred with lesser species, producing the Mal'akh. Their legends were recorded in the Book of Enoch, the Book of Noah, and other Biblical apocrypha. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
