Alison Lavelle was a marine biologist.

After Izzy Sinclair and Destrii switched bodies, the Eighth Doctor went to Kyrol. He thought that Alison, who was exploring the planet's oceans on the Argus, could help Izzy adjust to her new form. (COMIC: Children of the Revolution)
