Regenerative Dissidence was a mental illness seen in Time Lords. It occurred when a Time Lord's previous incarnations personalities lived on inside their current incarnation. The eleventh incarnation of a Time Lord calling himself the Eleven suffered from this. His previous selves went by a number sequence in order of incarnations.
