James Stewart was a Hollywood actor whom the Doctor claimed lived from 1908 to 1997. The Time Lord said he was "noted for his performances in westerns, Hitchcockian thrillers and charming whimsical comedies". After regaining consciousness once in the TARDIS, the Doctor believed he was seeing Stewart, but instead it was merely Sarah Jane playing a trick on her friend by wearing a realistic flesh mask of the actor.
