Afterwords was the penultimate story in the anthology Now We Are Six Hundred. Like Beforwards (the first story in the anthology) it was a short story rather than a poem.

Synopsis

It was now sunset. Figment walks through the Thousand Year Wood and is once again diverted to the strange blue tree where he meets an old friend.

Plot

Notes

  • This story is a sequel to Beforwards. Little time has passed as Afterwards takes place at sunset, rather than dawn the same day.
