Kanta was the Ensign in Priskin's army. He didn't know that Priskin had become vampire. He became paranoid when he heard reports of attack in the city of Budapest, Priskin told him to ignore it. He helped the Fourth Doctor and Romana II through the Labyrinth. (AUDIO: The Labyrinth of Buda Castle)
