Edimmu
The Edimmu (also called ekimmu or ifrit) were a council of seven immortal Mal'akh who directed the Mal'akh presence on Earth. The Liber Sanguisgarum described them as the direct opponent of the Star Chamber.
Legends of the Edimmu dated back at least to the first millennium BC in Assyria, Babylon, and Arabia, describing immortal spirits of "great strength and great tread", "full of violence", who "rage against mankind" and "spill their blood like rain, devouring their flesh and sucking their veins".
In the 1460s, an army of Eastern European soldiers at Gragov believed they had found a fortress of the Edimmu, but in reality it belonged to the Celestis. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
