Sunderland was a city located in England.
When Iris Wildthyme parked her bus in a side street in Sunderland in 1991, a traffic warden named Jenny Winterleaf wandered onto the bus thinking it was a normal bus. Iris left before Jenny could get off and the two were stuck together for several years of adventures. (PROSE: The Dreadful Flap)
