NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) was an American organisation dedicated to exploring space. The Doctor had various encounters with NASA.

In the 1980s, the Doctor with Debbie Castle stole a NASA space shuttle. (EDA: Father Time)

In 2003, close to the Agent Yellow crisis, Chris Cwej worked for NASA. (NA: Eternity Weeps)

Around 2006 NASA launched a manned mission to Mars, which was encountered by the Doctor and Peri Brown. (BFA: Red Dawn) Two years later, it confirmed the existance of liquid water on the planet via its Phoenix probe.
