Mike Roach, and his wife, Sue Roach, were the best friends of Jackie and Joe Hargreaves.

Joe and Jackie were involved in a car crash while travelling home from visiting them in Llandaff. Jackie considered Mike to be funny. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
