Brundle was a member of UNIT. He was infected with the Wirrn and Colonel Vikram Shindi ordered him to be shot. He escaped being shot and wondered the countryside. He attacked Evans when he found him. He became fully a Wirrn Drone and wanted to protect his queen. (AUDIO: Hosts of the Wirrn)
