An Ultramancer was a metal-cased humanoid species. At least one member of this species attended the Festival of Offerings at the pyramid of the rings of Akhaten at least once. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)

An Ultramancer was on display in Hedgewick's World of Wonders. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

Behind the scenes

  • The subtitles of the BBC-version DVD give the name as "Ultramanta". (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)
  • The body is the Necromonger armour from the movie The Chronicles of Riddick, and was also used as the body of the Metalkind in The Sarah Jane Adventures,[source needed] whilst the head belonged to a Shade from Mission: 2110.[source needed]
  • The Ultramancer costume was reused for the Mercenoid in the Red Dwarf episode, Can of Worms.
