An inspector greeted the Sixth Doctor and William when they arrived in his city far in William's future. When Eldric Bansal was murdered, the Inspector suspected the Doctor and William, but gave them several hours to investigate the murder in order to prove their innocence. (PROSE: Walkin' City Blues)
